A 150-grit is suitable for leveling and shortening thicker enhancements. A 150-grit can be used to remove excess product on a newly sculpted nail. However, never use a 150-grit on freshly applied acrylic. The filing can damage the molecular structure as it is not fully set yet.

The rainbow shape is a combination of banana and straight shapes. This allows you to file the sidewalls and the tip of the nail with long, straight movements, and with the rounded side, file close to the cuticles, creating a smooth transition. The file is wider and can thus treat a larger area of the nail.
